Thesis: Design for Science — Process Book

My thesis utilized visual design and narrative strategies to better facilitate communication between scientific researchers and non-scientist audiences, especially when they are attempting to obtain non-traditional research funding. My solution involved a hands-on design workshop which provides scientists with the tools and knowledge to effectively communicate with their audience.

As part of my thesis requirements I created a process book, the document the development, iterations, and results of my design.

You can download it here.

UCH — Celebrating Our Success

Client Project: A short animation and testimonial piece produced for the University of Colorado Health to highlight the last few years of their achievements. I worked on this project from concept to delivery, working within the constraints and short delivery date the client had. Originally, the client had the vision of an “animated power-point,” so we worked with them to discuss how to develop the piece to be more visually appealing and exciting for the audience, but staying within their budget.
